I only know because piano students have been coming wearing them. Grace laid all of hers out on the counter today to show me the shapes. And... yes, I remember the slap bracelets. Not from my generation, but from yours.
I have to admit....I knew what that was. My daughter is 14 and must have a gazillion of them laying around our house. {well not anymore, I put them in one basket}
When I was growing up....we were wearing those clanky ones all the way up our arms. Oh no, now I'm showing my age. hehe
Ashleigh, our 12 year old, comes home with a new one every day. We have cars, animals, music notes and several other things. I don't get it but they are seriously popular here.
The Kindergartner's are wearing them, the 8th graders are wearing them. High school students at church are wearing them. They. Are. EVERYWHERE! And they trade them at school CONSTANTLY! I wonder when they are going to jack the price up. I'm pretty sure you can get them at the dollar store right now.

Well, now that I have one I'm cool, I guess. :) I have this feeling that I need more...
Christina - I was in that era as well, along with the slap bracelets. I remember my babysitter having all those metal ones.
